bits of everything

ok, so how is that the 1st 40 miles I drove towards lower mainland was torrential rains,
changing to beautiful blue skies, glorious leaves changes-then 40 miles from designation,
torrential rains???
Am I a jinx, that has been suggested at various times. Any way had a wonderful time visiting
my grandsons, aged 3 and 5. I think the 3 year old is going to be an Olympic Gymnast and
Detective. He's great at puzzles. The 5 year old is going to be either a Pilot, Engineer and
of course, famous authority on WW II planes.

He's 5, so he asks interesting questions like. "If the Americans fought the Japanese, why are
they friends now? Do the Germans and Russians still enemies? Deep thoughts for small child.
My other 2 grandchildren are deep into Karate, that could be scary, the other 2 are a free
spirit and a Math Brainiac.

I've missed 2 days worth of the nonstop news events that are blasted as us everyday.
So, now the economy is in the toilet and all our stocks and savings are in danger.
Question??? Who did not see this coming for a long time. Our hold on our lives has become
very tenuous and fragile. Don't see anyone running for Office in either Canada or US. that
gives me any real hope for fix.
