autumn feels like winter

This morning the frost was pretty thick on the car window. Credit cards really do work not
too badly. Have to find that scraper somewhere. Pulled out some winter sweaters, almost
like getting some new clothes (but cheaper).
We had a semi gigantic bonfire today to try burn some of the pine beattle beaten bark.
Wow now that a mouth full. Anyway, we had tons of it to burn after Jerry hacked about
5 cord of wood for the winter. I am the official picker upper and stacker. (on call basis only).
Of course, some times it has to be restacked. All you get out of that is hands full of slivers
that don't like to come out easily.
Right now I'm trying to convince Big Red that we need pie, we keep the house to healthy,
there's nothing to eat in the house. Well, except for fruit, veggies, flax bread, you get
the idea.
I'm really craving a 2 lb. bag of jellybeans.
have a good day.

I. AM. HONORED. The Captain's mom, commenting on my little old blog. You have created a genius, madam. Wow! Can I just say that your son, and daughter-in-law are my favorite people in the world that I have never met face to face. Happy Thanksgiving!
