Long day yesterday, funeral for a lady who was a long time friend of family. She had served
as a Nurse in WWII serving in England, Belgium and Germany, often close in dangerous
situations. She had a wonderful sense of humor and appeared in many plays up here with
Big Red's Mother. She was the straight lady and BR's mom the bag lady. They played
ladies who's afternoon tea was always well laced with alcohol. Wasn't til years down the road
that we all found out the tea was substituted by Vodka or Gin.

Last night we went to town to celebrate another friends birthday. It was a total surprize
as she didn't realize any of us (her Red Hat Friends) were coming, as well as family from
around the province.
note: never go to Montanas on your birthday, they make you wear a moose helmet and
sing cruel songs to you.
Cpt. Dumbass, you weren't the only one who had a few last night. I have a headache now
and no sympathy.

This solidifies it. I KNOW NOW for 100% that I belong in this family.
