Hello from the frozen north. It's Ladies Night at the Golf Course, so of course, it's pouring
rain, with a strong March wind blowing.
Enuff already, want to start complaining about the heat!
Rehearsals are getting down to the wire for our "Luv Boat" production. Our skit only takes
about 20 minutes of time. Unfortunately, the 4 of us who are in it are finding it impossible
to get together to practise at the same time. So should be interesting. There are some
really talented people in the Variety Part of the show. But it's still small town entertainment,
but what fun.
Anyone got any ideas for retraining a puppy? We got her in December at 30 below, so of
course she was puppy paper trained. She was trained only to well. We put her outside
for a couple of hours. What does she do, she holds it til she comes in and can get to her
paper.
Also, aside from electrocution...how to convince her not to eat electric cords. Yesterday
she polished off the last of the blowdryers with the "lit mirror" for a main course.
Oh...also, she has a huge German Shepherd pup (next door) as a buddy-and they manage
to get in each others yard. Wouldn't be too bad, cos she ends up on the road in front of
the house!
darn good thing she's cute!!!

I would start with crate training I think. And as for chewing electric cords, try Bitter Apple for Dogs spray. Hopefully your dog will NOT like bitter and sour things...however, I had a cat that loved it, so that didn't work for his chewing of the electric cords problem!
thanks Jess, ready to try anything.
