shovelling roof

The pictures shows our trees before the 3,000,000 lbs of snow
hit them. Little dot in centre was supposed to show giant moon.
Hmmm, need more magnification, I guess.
Yesterday, Big Red and I spent a few hours on the roof, shovelling
knee deep snow. Never, Ever, ever, buy a house with a flat roof
when you know that the snows gonna get u some time. 1st 6 or
so inches at top aren't too bad, it's the heavy iced up stuff on the
bottom that will throw out your back, kill your side and throw in a few moments of terror too.
Today, we each take a shed, my back hurts just thinking about it. Then Big Red gets to go do
his Mom's house, steeper, more slippery. I think just firing a few rockets up there to blast off
the ice and snow would be a good idea. But hey, he never listens to me.
Oh well, grandkids from Kamloops are coming up for 2 sleeps, temp has even warmed up to
-10 so we can take them out to build snow man. 300 ft. snowman if they want.
Looking forward to when Dumbass children can get up here, was go to dazzle them with the
snow, but a Greater Power has already trumped that one.
Happy New Year to everyone
