A year and a half ago I lost my closest friend to Cancer. I had told her that when she lost her
hair, I would have my head shaved too. I let life get in the way, we were a few hundred miles
away from each other and I never did it.
I have always felt badly, now I have 2 very good friends who are currently battling this disease
and going through Chemo. One very brave lady, is going to lose her hair. I have promised her
that mine would go to. For my friend, Randy, for my friend, Audrey and for myself I won't
let that happen again.

What a great way to help your friends! As self conscious as they will feel, it will be comforting to them to know that you were willing to do such a thing.
