Ok, I get it, you need to communicate if you want to be heard! Gotcha!

Police almost got me, well, actually they did.

Picture me, who always goes the speed limit (maybe a km or 2 over), passes a

lone parked police car sitting by side of highway. I slow down to due guilt of that

extra 2 km. What happens, sirens screams, light flash, the police car comes roaring

out behind me. I pull over figure he has some bad ass dude to catch, then he pulls in

behind me.

I show no fear, I had no idea what in the hell was going on, but plaster a nice smile on

and wait for him to pull out his gun and tell me to step away from the vehicle. (hey,

I watch cops on TV all the time.)

But no, Apparently a new law was introduced in June of this year making it illegal

to drive past any emergency vehicle parked on the road without

a) moving to another lane if possible and slowing down to 70,

b) slow down to at least 60 and try to stay as far away from that vehicle as possible.

Makes total sense, Know ignorance is no excuse, but nice guy didn't ticket me.

He reminded me if he'd had to get out of his car, I could have killed him. I didn't say

that you were alone on the highway, so why the hell would you get out of your car without

watching for a green car streaking past.

So new lesson learned!

But I didn't get a ticket and Big Red DID, ha ha ha

Not much to do in our little town, biggest item is predicting when the first snow will fall, I

have a $ down on October 22nd Cheer for me as I could win up to $20.00.

Looking forward to having the Dumbasses up. Will get Cpt Dumbass out chopping would,

don't tell him that or he'll hide. Big Red still can't use his left hand, but we're going to Dr.

today. So hopefully will find out what it is.
