Ok, so I was gone a long time. Up until this morning we have been whining and crying about the
heat. Body flattening 33 degree and up heat. Smoke from all the fires so damn heavy you could
taste it. Ash on our cars in the morning, couldn't see the hills around us...
Finally, today, it's pouring rain, the good stuff.
Cept of course, that this weekend is the 60th Anniversary of the Fall Fair and Rodeo. Not one
bloody drop of rain all summer, now it's literally going to rain on our parade!
Note to all u lap toppers! You have heard on tv and radio about lap tops catching fire. There
was a death a few weeks ago involving lap top. Take is seriously, a friend just lost their entire
home 2 days ago because of a fire from a lap top. They were very lucky to get out of the house
with just the clothes on their backs. If she hadn't woken up with a head ache, they would never
have survived.
UNPLUG the damn things at night. There's was on shutdown mode, but still plug in. Think batteries exploded due to heat.

Ohhh good point! It is true..batteries can do that randomly!!! Glad they made it safe and glad you are getting rain...even though it is on your parade! :)
